About Cliff Gross

Growing up, my fascination with woodworking began to take root, leading me on a journey that would shape my future. At the age of 18, as I immersed myself in the world of construction, I found myself drawn to the art of woodworking, slowly accumulating an array of tools that would become my companions on this lifelong odyssey.

In 2016, woodworking transformed from a mere interest into a burning passion that consumed my days and fueled my ambition. Since then, every piece crafted has been a testament to this ardor that continues to grow within me.

Alongside my academic pursuits, my role as a father to two young children and a loving husband to my unwavering partner adds depth and richness to my life. Their presence is a constant reminder of what truly matters, grounding me in moments of chaos and triumph alike.

Hailing from Orange County, CA, my path led me to the Navy at 27, where I served as a Machinist Mate and Surface Rescue Swimmer on the USS Cole. The experiences from my time in service have molded me, instilling in me values that I carry with me into every facet of my life.

As I navigate the intricate tapestry of family life, academic endeavors, and the quiet solace found in woodworking, I am reminded of the journey that has brought me to where I stand today – a craftsman, a student, a veteran, a father, a husband – each role intertwined to form the essence of who I am.
